GLASFAX CONFERENCE 2012

The Members of Glasfax District IV are pleased to extend a special invitation to all those interested in glass and glass research to attend our biannual conference. Our program will focus on the developments of “Black Gold & Glass” and will include tours, informative presentations, good food and opportunities to share information and make new friends. We look forward to seeing you in Sarnia, Ontario in June

2012.

 

Speaker topics during the conference will include the early petroleum industry, miniature kersosene lamps, Victorian milk glass, and the scenes on the Canadian pattern.  We will tour the Oil Museum of Canada and see the first commercial oil well in North America followed by a visit to the Bonnie Doone Fused Glass Studio.  

 

The registration form has details on the hotel, program and provides an overview of the Sarnia Lambton area.  Although this is a Glasfax function, we invite anybody interested in glass in Canada to join us. We look forward to seeing you in June!
